Why Germany is hiring nurses from India
Nursing is the second-largest shortage occupation in Germany. More than 30,000 posts are unfilled. Indian nurses — GNM, B.Sc., Post Basic B.Sc. and M.Sc. — are among the most actively recruited.

A shortage is not a job offer. Germany needs nurses and still turns down applicants every week, most often on language and on documents.
Pay & Recognition
Your German level decides your pay grade
Public hospitals pay from a published table (TVöD-P). Whether you are paid as an assistant or a qualified nurse depends on one thing: recognition. Recognition needs B2 German.
After tax, health insurance, pension and rent, expect to keep around 55–60% of your gross. A recognised nurse in Germany still earns several times an Indian nursing salary, with a pension, 30 days of paid leave, and a path to permanent residence.
What German level you need
- A2 — legal minimum to enter Germany (but B1 is usually expected for nursing)
- B1 — what authorities expect in practice before granting the residence permit
- B2 — what gets you the nurse title and qualified pay grade

- Place you with any employer
- Work with, take fees from, or route you to any recruitment agency
- Handle your recognition, visa, or documents
- Charge you anything connected to a job or a visa outcome
Our fee is for classes. Nothing else. If that sounds like less than what other people are offering you, ask them what the extra services actually cost, and whether leaving them costs anything.
Agency Courses
About the free German courses agencies advertise
Certified agencies under the Employer Pays Principle do not charge nurses at all — language, visa and relocation are paid by the employer. Those programmes are real and they are good. If one accepts you, take it. We will tell you the same.
Below that tier, the market gets worse. Some agencies charge thousands of euros for services that should cost nothing, and some contracts carry penalties if you leave early. Ask any agency for their certification, fee structure, and exit terms in writing before you sign anything.
One thing no agency can give you: the ability to actually speak. An agency can pay for a course. It cannot make you able to follow a shift handover or explain a medication change to a patient's family. That gap is where most nurses lose years.

Who this course is for
You are ready for the Pflege track if:
- You have completed GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. or M.Sc. Nursing
- You hold a valid State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council registration
- You already have A2 German (to start B1) or B1 German (to start B2)

I hold ANM only
A two-year qualification usually maps to assistant level in Germany, not the full nurse title. German will not change that. We will tell you what you are realistically buying toward before you enrol.
I am still studying
Start German now. The Germany pathway opens once your degree and registration are complete, and language is the slowest part, so it is the right thing to begin first.
I am a fresher with no experience
Recruiters strongly prefer one to two years of clinical experience. You can still do this. You should hear the market reality before you plan around it.
I am a complete beginner in German
Then you start at A1, not B1. We will not put you in a class you cannot pass.

Questions nurses ask
Do you guarantee I will get a job in Germany?
No. Be careful of anyone who does. We guarantee language preparation. Employers decide placement and German state authorities decide recognition. Language is the most common bottleneck and that is the part we remove.
Is B2 compulsory before I leave India?
No. Since March 2024 you can enter under a recognition partnership with A2 as the legal minimum, though B1 is usually expected in practice for nursing. B2 before departure is an advantage, not a rule. It gets you to qualified nurse pay faster.
Can I just learn German free once I am in Germany?
Sometimes, yes. Once an employer or programme has taken you on, subsidised courses exist. We will not pretend otherwise. Nurses still choose to reach B2 first because they arrive competitive rather than still studying, and reach full nurse pay sooner. Ask us about your specific situation and we will tell you the truth.
How long does A1 to B2 take?
10 to 14 months of serious study for most working nurses. Anyone promising three months is selling you something.
Which certificate should I take, telc or Goethe?
For nursing, telc Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege is the certificate recognition authorities and employers look for, because it tests care-specific language. A general B2 certificate is accepted for the language requirement itself. We prepare you for both.
Do you teach online or in person?
Online. Live concept sessions plus daily speaking pods, so nurses working shifts across India and Germany can attend.

We work with agencies and employers who need a German training partner for nurse cohorts, at A1 to B2, including telc Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege preparation. Training is delivered online with daily speaking practice, and we report attendance and progress per cohort.
Candidates are never charged inside a recruitment pipeline. Fees are for training, invoiced to the partner or paid directly by the student, never conditional on a placement outcome.
